Company documents

Keep your insurance, licenses and bonds in Currity and get warned before one lapses, the same way as the crew's cards.

Add a document

  1. Open Documents in the menu.
  2. Press Add a document.
  3. Choose the Kind: General liability, Workers' comp, Commercial auto, Umbrella, Contractor license, Bond, Business registration or Other.
  4. Type a Name, and the Expiry date, or tick Does not expire. Carrier, number, issue date and notes are optional.
  5. Press Add the document.
  6. To attach the scan, press Edit on the document, then Attach a scan.

Warnings

Owners and admins get an email about company documents 90, 60, 30, 14, 7 and 1 days before one expires, on the day, and once after it lapses, at 07:00 in your time zone. A document that does not expire gets no warning. The Monday summary lists those expired or due in 30 days.

Where they show up

  • On the compliance report, as a sheet of its own, and as Company documents CSV on Report.
  • In the prequal packet for a project, with their scans.
  • On a GC link, only when you press Show company documents for that link. The GC sees the name, kind, carrier, number, expiry and status, never a scan or a note.

Good to know

  • Scans can be PDF, JPEG, PNG or HEIC, up to 10 MB.
  • Owners and admins add and change them. Foremen do not see them.
  • Deleting a document deletes its scan too, and cannot be undone. The audit log keeps a line saying so.

Something here does not match what you see in the app? That is a mistake on our side. Tell us.

Try it on your own crew.

Currity keeps every card date for your crew and warns you at 90, 60 and 30 days, so a lapsed card turns up on the board before it turns up on site.
