Warnings and the Monday summary
Currity emails you before a card lapses, at 07:00 in your time zone, so the renewal gets booked in time.
When warnings go out
- 90, 60, 30, 14, 7 and 1 days before a card expires, on the day itself, and once more after it has lapsed.
- For a required card that is not on file.
- At 07:00 in your company's time zone, set on Settings.
- One email a morning, listing everything owed that day. Each warning goes out once, never the same one twice.
If a morning is missed, the warning that came due is still sent the next morning.
Who gets them
- Everyone on the Team page except foremen, at the address shown there.
- Not foremen. A foreman can get their own sites' share instead: on My sites, under Warning emails for your sites, press Turn on my warnings. It is off to start with.
- Company documents, such as insurance, are warned about in a separate email to owners and admins. See Company documents.
The Monday summary
Every Monday at 07:00, owners and admins get one short email: who is not cleared to work, what is due in the next 30 days, and how many warnings went out. It is on to start with.
To stop it, open Team and press Turn off the weekly summary. That changes it for you only, not for the rest of the team. Warnings about single cards still come as they fall due.
Booked a class? Hold the early warnings
- On the person's file, or on Coming due, open Booked a class beside the card.
- Set the Class date. Provider (optional) is yours to fill in.
- Press Save booking.
- While the class is still ahead, the early warnings for that card wait. A class booked for after the card expires holds nothing.
- The warning on the expiry day, the expired warning and the not on file warning are never held.
- If the class passes with no new card on file, the next morning's email says so.
- Recording the new card cancels the booking. The board keeps showing the card's true status, with a quiet Booked and the class date beside it.
Bounced mail
If mail to an address bounces or is marked as spam, Currity stops sending to it. The Team page says so beside that person. Type the new address and press Update address. Warnings go to it from the next morning. Settings shows a line too.
If every address on the account has bounced, no warning can go out until one is fixed.
Expiry dates in your calendar
- Open Settings and find Expiry dates in your calendar.
- Press Make a calendar link, then Copy link. Copy it now: it is shown this one time.
- Subscribe to it in your calendar app. The page has steps for Google Calendar, Outlook and Apple Calendar.
Every expiry on the board appears as an all day event on the day it lapses, with a reminder 30 days before. It updates by itself as cards are renewed.
Treat the link like a password: anyone holding it can read your crew's names and expiry dates. Revoke link stops it. Making a new link stops the old one. A foreman makes theirs on My sites, and it shows their sites' crew only.
Good to know
- When the trial ends with no plan, warnings pause. See Billing, the trial and cancelling.
- Changing the time zone moves future warnings. It does not send again the ones already sent.
- Crew members can get reminders about their own cards too. See Crew card links.
- The board always shows the true state whenever you open it, email or no email.
