- Who it covers
- Public works or buildings for a state agency or municipality with a total project cost of $100,000 or more, including work paid for in part with state funds. Police doing traffic control, flaggers trained by the Department of Transportation, government employees and inspectors, and people not on the site of work, such as delivery drivers, are exempt.
- Deadline
- Before beginning work. Someone found without proof is removed if they do not produce it by the 15th day.
- Renewal
- The statute sets no expiry or renewal.
